After a family tragedy and working herself until she is exhausted, Leena is ordered to take a two month break from work. Not really knowing what to do with herself she head off to Yorkshire to visit her grandmother. Eileen is 79, recently divorced and ready to look for a new relationship but there are very few available men locally.
Leena hatches a plan for them to switch lives for two months. Eileen will head to London and live in Leena's flat where she will be helped by Leena's friends and flatmates to find an eligible man. The dating apps show that there are many more available man in the right age group living in London than there are within miles from Eileen's Yorkshire home.
Leena will live in her grandmother's house and undertake all her usual tasks, such as attending the neighbourhood watch meetings, planning the village fete and driving elderly people around who need a lift to places. She also needs to keep an eye on her mother.
Eileen is a hit with all Leena's friends and soon starts to arrange dates and gets to know and bring together the people who live in the block of flats.
Leena doesn't find the local OAPs quite so easy to get along with.
