With much encouragement from her friends Molly, who loves baking, finally follows her dream to open a tea garden. She takes over the garden of an empty shop at the end of a small row. The shop next door has just been rented by Logan who has come to Cranbridge to be near his grandfather whilst he gets over the very public ending of his marriage.
Molly and many of the villagers are trying to improve the area as the owner of the shops has left them to deteriorate and the garden has become very overgrown. Along with the tea garden some of the locals have taken on an area as a community garden.
Logan's grandfather owns the local watermill and with Logan's help wants to rebuild the waterwheel so that the mill can re-open.
