It comes as a massive surprise to Daisy when her boyfriend Jimmy suggests that they get married and have children. She panics and realises that perhaps that isn't what she wants.
Her school friend Florence, who has moved to live in Barcelona, seems to have the perfect life with the perfect job and the perfect boyfriend. When Oli takes Flo to Paris for the weekend she is convinced that she is going to get a romantic proposal. She is in for a surprise.
As both Daisy and Flo need to get away from their partners and have a change of scenery whilst they think about what they really want in life, they decide to house swap with each other for a few weeks.
Daisy loves being in the sunshine and is taken around Barcelona by Flo's friend Javier. Flo is looking after Daisy's animals in cold and snowy England and is constantly laughed at, but also helped, by Daisy's next door neighbour Hugo.
