Knowing that he doesn't have long left to live, Jonathan Coulter visits a solicitor to change his will. The new will states that his 3 children must decide between them how to dispose of his estate. They have to agree, if they don't then everything will be given to charity.
Liv, Noah and Chloe all live very different lives and rarely agree on anything. They spend one weekend together to try to work our how to split the estate. There has been no mention in the will of Megan, Jonathan's partner, who nursed him through his last few years of illness but who had broken up their parents marriage. Nor is there mention of their mother, but she had received a good divorce settlement. Should they each receive something from estate or not? The 3 siblings have very different ideas about what they should do.
