Having woken up one night covered in blood and finding his son dead and beaten in his bed, David Burroughs is in prison for murder. He has refused to see anyone so is surprised when 5 years later his sister-in-law visits. She shows him a photograph of a group of people at a theme park and in the background is a young boy who looks just like Matthew his son.
The only way David can find out if his son is still alive is to plan his escape from prison and try to find the boy himself. But if Matthew is still alive, who was the murdered boy?
