Following the sudden death of her husband Luke, Kate Marsden is really struggling in her grief and is also about to lose her job. Her friends have been supportive but she keeps pushing them away.
One morning she wakes up and finds that she is 18 years old again, is back in her room at university and it is the day that she first met Luke. If she can meet him again and let him know about his health problem she may have a chance to save his life.
