Having worked very long hours, always having to be on-call and not having had a days holiday over the last few years is starting to take its toll. Amber realises that she needs to make changes in her life.
Then her boyfriend Jake announces that he will be moving to the countryside to Skylark Farm in Wynbridge to help his elderly aunt who is struggling to run the farm on her own.
Amber moves to Skylark Farm with Jake and they live in the farmhouse with Annie. Amber discovers that Jake used to live in a house on the farm with Holly a previous girlfriend. Amber is determined to succeed in her new farm life and help to make changes to keep the farm going and get out of their financial problems. Holly then reappears in Wynbridge.
