The police are not really interested when 17 year old Wyn vanishes. She is classed as a teenage runaway, they expect she will come back soon. After a few days it becomes obvious that there are a few reasons why she may have run away and the police do little to look for her.
One year later her mother Jessica receives a text message from Wyn asking for her help and saying that the man who has captured her may kill her. Jessica had never given up hope of finding Wyn and she starts to ask questions and investigate what could have happened and where she may be. Wyn says the man holding her wears a police badge and tells Jessica not to involve the police.
